田上教授が IADR Distinguished Scientist Awardを受賞しました。

2017年3月サンフランシスコで開催されました95th IADR General Sessionにて田上教授が IADR Distinguished Scientist Award(殊勲科学者賞)を受賞しました。 955年に始まった最も古い科学賞である。国立基準局(現基準と技術の国立研究所)の歯科部門を確立するのに努めたウィリアム・ソーダー博士を敬うものであり,彼が実例を示した科学的概念を不朽のものとし,そして歯科材料研究を激励するために設けられた。社会への歯科サービスを進展させたか,あるいはそれが期待される質の高い科学的研究について評価される。歯科材料研究界で最高の栄誉とする。
